COVID-19 Preventative Measures
The Cheam Fishing Village and Campground have implemented the following precautions to open the Campground safely while protecting the health and welfare of our Community, staff, and guests.
Signage has been posted throughout the Campground reminding guests to practice social distancing;
Campsite rentals will be staggered allowing for extra room between R/V’s and/or Campers;
A limited number of guests will be permitted per campsite;
Signs posted on the office door admitting one guest at a time and all touch surfaces will be disinfected prior to the next guest entering;
- As part of the check-in process, guests will be required to sign a disclosure agreeing to follow the social distancing guidelines and protective measures;
Portable toilets have been placed on a heightened cleaning schedule; and
Hand sanitizers are available in the office and washrooms.
The Cheam Fishing Village and Campground reserve the right to close and/or cancel reservations without advanced notice if recommended by the Provincial Health Officer or by the Cheam First Nation Chief and Council.
